Duro Dakovic Montaza has officially commenced the celebration of its 100th anniversary with an event organised for employees and retirees, thereby inaugurating a year-long programme of activities dedicated to this significant milestone.
The opening event brought together nearly one thousand current and former employees. A highlight of the celebration was a millennium photograph directed by Šime Strikoman. In addition, an exhibition of analogue photography titled “Two Times: Then and Now”, curated by company employees, was inaugurated. The exhibition presents a visual dialogue between past and present, underscoring the continuity of operations and the company’s industrial heritage.

He also noted the 30th anniversary of Duro Dakovic Euromontaza in Slovenia, as well as the company’s continued focus on projects in green energy and sustainable solutions.
“From its earliest stages, the company recognised the importance of internationalisation, which enabled the successful delivery of complex projects across Western European markets. Montaza has consistently demonstrated a forward-looking approach—identifying opportunities and driving growth. Our responsibility is to preserve this legacy while ensuring its continued advancement.”

While the company is built on solid foundations, it operates in a dynamic environment that demands adaptability. The experience accumulated over decades remains a critical asset in addressing future challenges.”
